This land is not white mans land
It belongs to you and me
Our people lived here long before
The great ships crossed the sea

Our people shared from Mother Earth
To help the ones who came
But they in turn stole from us
They hunted, they killed our game

This land is not white mans land
It belongs to you and me
All our people ever want
Is to be alone and free

Great Spirit hear our weeping
Look down on us and see
Promises that are broke
No longer are we free

Great Spirit hear our pleading
Help us to keep our land
What little has been left for us
Is threatened by white man
