I searched far and wide for the perfect gift for you,
Then something came to me just out of the blue.

I thought I would write you these words of rhyme,
You can read it wherever you go and at any time.
They aren't the greatest but the best I could do,
The whole time I was writing I was thinking of you.

My mind keeps wandering to such good memories,
Of the yesterdays we had just you and me.
We've been in love since the first day we met,
You stole the key to my heart and still have it.

You know my every wish, every want and desire,
You know just what to say to lift me even higher.
We show our love no matter where we are,
In a public restaurant or even in our car. 

Anyone can feel the magic when they are near,
We can't help it because it is always here.
No amount of candy or lots of fancy jewelry ,
Compare to the love I feel when you are near me.

I don't need a bed of roses or a fancy ring,
I have you that's enough, you are my everything.
I can't express enough how much I feel for you,
You are my one and only and my love is true.

I want you to know your special in every single way,
I love you very much and, "Happy Valentine's Day".
