This is a story of a sweet old man,

Give anything he possibly can.

People never had a problem or worry,

They will take it to Mr. Bomburry.

He had a lot of money to spare,

He handed it out loved to share.

People need money just for fun,

He would say consider it done.

At Christmas he bought for everyone,

From age 90 clear down to age one.

But this year on  Christmas day,

He didn't show to give presents away.

It wasn't like him to want to stay home alone

The townsfolk got worried went to his home,

He didn't answer so they opened the door.

There he was lying on the floor.

Everyone felt his loss that day,

They each loved him in their own way.

They know he was a special man,

Now God has taken him to his Land.

When Mr. Bomburry arrived at the gate,

He said "I'm sorry, you've made a mistake.

You see, it isn't time for me to be here,

These people need me to bring cheer."

"I'm sorry sir, but it was time for you to part,

But you must wait for the bus to Good Heart."

"Good Heart, I've never heard of such a place,

I want to be with God, want to be with His Grace."

"You will be with God in a very special Land,

It is reserved for only the best of man.

You see, Mr. Bomburry, you are one of a kind,

Never ask for anything, only gave with an open mind."

"This Land you're going to is for man such as you,

This Land is made up of only an elite few."

"Will my friends be joining me when their time has come?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Bomburry, but Little Susie is the only one."

"But sir, they're wonderful people and they care a lot,

I guess I don't understand why they can not."

"When something went wrong they always came to you,

They didn't deal with it themselves, didn't know what to do."

"Little Susie would come to night and every day's end,

Didn't want anything, she was just looking for a friend."

The bus pulled up and Mr. Bomburry got aboard,

He never looked at it that way, now he thanked the Lord.
