An angel came and took my son away,
I'm sure there's a reason, it's hard to say.

He was only fourteen with a lot to learn,
The ups and downs, the twist and turns.

He was hard at work high up in the air,
We didn't know he'd be working there.

We got the call saying he had fallen,
We can't believe he is really gone.

He touched the heart of everyone,
So vibrant, alive and full of fun.

Three other children, his father and I,
Go to bed each night and ask why.

Why did the Lord take him away?
Each and every night we pray.

We know he is in a peaceful place,
He's in our hearts, we see his face.

We can sense that he is still here,
Watching over us and always near.

Sometimes reaching out to touch,
Micheal we love and miss you so much.

These tears are falling in my heart
They say they'll pass in time
A piece of me will always weep
My heart has lost its rhyme

My son is not upon this earth
His smile and voice is gone
But in my heart those echoes still
His beauty lingers on

A mother's heart so full of woe
Heart so filled with grief
Searching memories in my past
This sadness I must meet

No never will his life be gone
I hold it deep within
He lives within my soul you see
My heart entwined with him

Now I've lost his sweetest gift
The beauty of his charms
The way he always tugged my heart
The warmth within his arms

Precious times can't be replaced
I'll keep this treasury
Silently my heart will weep
My tears

A child that loses a parent is an orphan.
A man who loses his wife is a widower.
A woman that loses her husband is a widow.
There is no name for a parent that loses a child,
for there is no word to describe the pain.

A Child Is Always Your Child,
No Matter What The Age Of Loss,
Because That Child Was Wanted,
And Loved."
