We just started talking but it's like I've known you for years,
We have everything in common, cried the same kind of tears.
We have both been through broken hearts and dreams,
It's like we were destined to find each other, so it seems.

I don't know exactly what to think or feel,
It's like it is too good to be real.
I get this scared feeling deep inside,
I just want to run off and hide.

I have been hurt so many times in the past,
By true loves that I thought would last.
I feel like it's a dream, for I have dreamt it before,
One day I will wake up and you will be no more.

I say that I miss you, though we've never been together,
I feel you are what I have been missing forever.
You have all the qualities that I've been looking for,
I just can't believe they are knocking at my door.

It's hard to believe someone could love me,
For who I am and not what I can be.
Somehow I feel you are not like the rest,
That you and I, together, could have the best.

I think of you and my heart skips a beat,
I can't wait for the day that we finally meet.
We have expressed this, you feel the same way too,
The amazing thing is, is that I don't even know you.
