are they really gone
Is there a ladder somewhere
built tall and strong

Why from this earth

God picked a rose
when he chose you

Like Rapunzel who 
let down her hair
Drop down a ladder 
to use as a stair

A stairway to heaven
lit by a star
Leading me to
where ever you are

Always in my thoughts ...
Forever in my heart
From there my love 
you will never part
